Albert Mohler Jr. serves as the ninth president of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary—the flagship school of the Southern Baptist Convention and one of the largest seminaries in the world. He is an ordained minister and is recognized as a leading evangelical theologian. He has served as pastor and staff minister of several Southern Baptist churches. Besides hosting a nationwide radio program on the Salem Radio Network, Dr. Mohler also writes daily commentaries and blogs addressing theological, moral, and cultural issues. He is a popular preacher, teacher, and lecturer, as well as a frequent guest on national and international news outlets. He and his wife, Mary, have two children. |
