Sermon: The Ministry that Prepares the Way | Mark 1:1–8

Shaun Marksbury | Cornerstone Church of Savannah Morning Service | 8 January, 2017

The ministry of John the Baptist was prophesied hundreds of years in advance, but it wasn't the point. It was supposed to point God's people to the coming Messiah. We're going to look at his ministry and just how it prepared the way for Jesus Christ.

I. This ministry starts with Scripture (vv. 2–3)
II. This ministry highlights sin (vv. 4–5)
III. This ministry models Scripture (v. 6)
IV. This ministry looks to the Savior (vv. 7–8)
